Welcome to the Law Day Race
On May 30, 2008, in celebration of Law Day, there will be a 10K run, a 5K run, and a 1 mile walk to benefit both KIDPOWER of Colorado Springs and Chin's Up. The race start is at 6:00pm, with packet pickup starting at 5:30pm.
The course is in beautiful Monument Valley Park on well-packed dirt trails and is accessible to persons of all athletic abilities. The course is generally flat with a couple of small hills.
FEES
All entry fees are non-refundable.
- 10K Run — $30
- 5K Run — $25
- 1 Mile Walk (13 & older) — $25
- 1 Mile Walk (12 & under) — $15

Online registration is available from this page on active.com. Please note that a small processing fee will be added to your on-line registration by active.com.
There will be limited registrations available on race day. However, there will be a $5 increase in all race registration fees and we cannot guarantee the availability of t-shirts in your size, or in fact the availability of any t-shirts at all.
PACKET PICK-UP
Race packets can only be picked up at the race start/finish area in Monument Valley Park starting at 5:30pm.
EVENT TIMES

- 6:00pm — Race start
Please note that all participants must be able to finish their respective event within 90 minutes from the start.
OUR BENEFICIARIES
KIDPOWER of Colorado Springs is the local center of KIDPOWER International, a 501(c)(3), not-for- profit, charitable organization. The Colorado Springs Center provides comprehensive safety education and confidence-building skills to children ages 3-18 and their families. KIDPOWER's mission is to teach young people to use their own power to stay safe from abuse, assault and abduction. KIDPOWER has been assisting families and young people in Colorado Springs for 12 years.
CHIN'S UP is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for troubled children and their families to heal and grow. Children, adolescents, and families are referred to CHIN'S UP as a result of abuse, neglect, severe parent-child conflict and juvenile delinquency. The primary focus of their services is to maintain the safety of the child, the integrity of the family and the safety of the community.
